A professional range rewards good preparation. Work through this with your builder or designer early and your appliance will perform exactly as engineered from day one.

Electrical

Dual fuel and induction ranges require a dedicated 240V circuit at the range location, at the amperage stated in the installation manual.

Here is the part worth flagging early, because it can change your budget: our appliances are engineered to draw less current than is typical in the category. Wall ovens run on 15-amp circuits, and induction is capped at 20 amps.

In a lot of homes — particularly older ones — that is the difference between a straightforward install and a service upgrade. Have your electrician check your available capacity against the specific model's requirement during planning rather than during rough-in.

A dedicated circuit — not shared with other appliances — ensures your controls and elements receive clean, stable power.

Gas supply

Confirm gas type and have your installer verify manifold pressure against the specification in the installation manual. Correct pressure is what allows a 20,000 BTU Crescendo burner to deliver its full output.

Check that the supply line is sized for the total connected load, particularly if other high-demand gas appliances share the system.

Our ranges ship configured for natural gas and are LP convertible. Conversion should be completed by a qualified installer using the correct kit, including adjustment of the low-flame setting on each valve.

Clearances and delivery

Check minimum clearances to side walls, rear wall and any cabinetry above, in the installation manual for your specific model.

If you are specifying our built-in suite, note that Matteo is designed to sit flush with a ¾-inch reveal and needs no trim kits — worth confirming with your cabinetmaker at drawing stage rather than at install.

Measure the delivery path — doorways, corridors, stair turns — before delivery day, so your range arrives intact and fully assembled.

Personalisation and lead time

Colour kits, bezels and engraved nameplates are handled within our manufacturing process rather than added afterwards, so choosing them doesn't push your delivery date. Custom RAL finishes are available where a project needs an exact match. Specify with your dealer at order rather than after.

On delivery day

Uncrate, inspect and photograph your appliance on arrival, even if installation is weeks away. Note cosmetic claim timeframes in your warranty documentation and raise anything promptly with your dealer.

Level the range front to back and side to side, measured on the oven rack. A level oven bakes evenly.

Register your product online. It takes a few minutes and it activates extended warranty coverage available on qualifying products — up to five years of parts and labor.

Frequently asked questions

What electrical supply does a dual fuel range need? A dedicated 240V circuit at the range location, in addition to the gas supply, at the amperage specified in the installation manual.

Will an induction range require a panel upgrade? Frequently not. Our induction is capped at 20 amps and our wall ovens run on 15-amp circuits — lower than is typical in the category. Confirm your specific model with your electrician during planning.

Do I need make-up air for my hood? Generally where the hood exceeds roughly 400 CFM in a well-sealed home. Many jurisdictions require it — confirm with your installer during planning.

Can I convert my range to propane? Yes. Our ranges ship configured for natural gas and are LP convertible using the correct conversion kit, fitted by a qualified installer.

Do custom colours delay delivery? No. Colour kits, bezels and nameplates are handled in manufacturing, so personalising your appliance doesn't extend the lead time.

Why does levelling matter? A level oven bakes evenly. Level front to back and side to side, measured on the oven rack rather than the cooktop.

Should I register my appliance? Yes. Registration is quick, free, and activates extended warranty coverage on qualifying products.
